A county of separate municipalities
Westchester is a Hudson Valley county, not a New York City borough or a single municipality. The county identifies six cities, nineteen towns, and twenty villages. A site described only as Westchester still needs its actual municipal context established. City, town, village, county, and project-owner responsibilities should not be treated as interchangeable.
The county's municipal directory provides separate community profiles and describes planning assistance through the Westchester Municipal Planning Federation. Yonkers is the location of TGA's flood mitigation support.
Yonkers flood mitigation survey support
TGA's Yonkers Flood Mitigation Project work includes survey support, field data collection, base mapping, and CAD drafting for studies in the Longvale and Grassy Sprain Brook and Bronx River watersheds. The work was coordinated with the lead engineer.
Field information and base mapping support the study team. TGA also provides survey coordination, as-built documentation, and technical drawing production.
Suburban public-sector and institutional scope
A county or municipal project and an institutional building assignment can require different documentation and review responsibilities. Identify the site's municipality, owner, and project phase before defining design, inspection, construction, or field-record work. Review the applicable municipal requirements with the project team.
TGA provides architectural and engineering design support, interior design, planning, construction administration, and code compliance support. Actual assignments and required project professionals should be discussed with the owner or prime team.
Connecting field records with the wider project
Survey records can connect with CAD, BIM, Revit modeling, and as-built drawing production. Construction administration can connect field observation, progress reporting, and closeout documentation. Technology coordination and facilities support remain distinct institutional support scopes.
Westchester County, the Bronx, Rockland County, and New Jersey appear in the firm's regional service context. TGA's headquarters is in Brooklyn. Public-sector prime teams should review the applicable contract requirements and certification program before attributing participation credit to a proposed subcontract.
